Common Questions

• How do I save favorite quotes? Tap the bookmark icon on any quote to save it to your favorites. You can view all your saved quotes by tapping the bookmark icon in the top-right toolbar.
• Where is my data stored? All data is stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and App Groups. We don't collect or store any information on our servers.
• How do I customize the widget? Long-press the widget on your home screen and select "Edit Widget" to customize colors, fonts, and author selections.
• Can I sync across devices? Currently, Quote4U stores data locally on each device. We're exploring sync options for future updates.
• How do I select which authors appear in my feed? Go to Settings and browse the author categories. Tap authors to include or exclude them from your quote feed. You can also use "Select All" or "Clear" for quick selection.
• What is the Founder's Club? Founder's Club is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks premium features including 10 additional dark/matte colors, premium fonts (Futura, Didot, American Typewriter, Avenir, Baskerville), and the ability to create custom quote collections.
• How do I restore my Founder's Club purchase? If you've purchased Founder's Club on another device or after reinstalling, go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your access.
• How do I share quotes? Tap the "Share" button on any quote. You can choose between square format for social media posts or story format (1080x1920) optimized for Instagram Stories.
• What are Custom Quote Collections? (Founder's Club feature) You can create personalized collections with custom names and emoji icons. Select any combination of authors to include, and apply the collection to your feed with one tap.
• How many quotes and authors are available? Quote4U includes 67+ authors across multiple categories (Philosophy, Business, Sports, Writers, Psychology, Science, Movies, and more) with 610+ verified quotes, all optimized for readability.
• How do I use the "Favorites Only" toggle? Enable this toggle to show only quotes from authors you've favorited. This helps you focus on quotes from your preferred authors.
• Can I change the app theme? Yes! Go to Settings to switch between Light, Dark, or System theme. The app will adapt to your preference.
• What colors are available? Free users get 10 colors. Founder's Club members get 20 total colors, including 10 premium dark and matte options like Charcoal, Matte Black, Dark Navy, Burgundy, and more.
• How do I see what's new in the app? Check the "What's New" section in Settings to view recent updates and new features.
• My purchase isn't showing up. What should I do? Try tapping "Restore Purchases" in Settings. If the issue persists, contact us via Telegram with your purchase receipt.
• How do I add the widget to my Lock Screen or Home Screen? Long-press your Lock Screen or Home Screen, tap the "+" button, search for "Quote4U", and select the widget size you prefer.
